Over 26 years of experience in aviation, defence and engineering. Guy began his aerospace career in 1987 and has worked with a diverse range of clients including Diehl, MTU, Laben, Piaggio and Alenia Spazio. He spent 8 years with leading European engineering consultancies before going on to work with Magellan Aerospace, Sogeclair Aerospace and Lionbridge in business development roles, supporting Airbus and many of its global Risk Sharing Partners. Guy has a wealth of contacts in industry alongside many years of business development experience across Europe.

Operations Director

From a strong operations and technical background, James started his career at BAE Systems Airbus before spending ten years as an operations and systems manager for an international engineering consultancy supporting major aerospace and engineering clients, including Airbus and Rolls-Royce. During this time, he was responsible for managing and delivering projects and services across Europe, developing extensive experience in the aerospace and engineering sectors. As Operations Director, James oversees day-to-day business operations and works closely with clients and the team to manage and deliver services.

Trained as an aeronautical engineer, David founded his own business which grew to become one of the UK’s leading aerospace, defence and engineering consultancies. This merged with Sitec Group, later Belcan, to become one of the largest independently owned engineering service companies in the UK. A former president of the Royal Aeronautical Society, David has over 40 years of industry experience working with leading OEM companies in Europe including Airbus, GKN, BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce. He brings an extensive range of industry contacts and business development experience across the aerospace, defence, automotive, nuclear and engineering sectors.

Business Development Specialist, Europe

Based in Germany and fluent in German and English, Saul supports Westworld’s business development activity across mainland Europe. He brings a strong sales and key account management background, with experience developing relationships at major aerospace and engineering customers including Rolls-Royce Deutschland and Airbus. Before joining Westworld he was at Sitec in Germany, supporting business development and key account activity across European engineering markets, having previously spent several years in a customer-facing project and sales role for a German manufacturer.

Brian Bailey, Senior Business Development Manager

Considerable experience in contract management, business development and engineering recruitment across aerospace and general mechanical and electrical industries. A design engineer by training, Brian has been responsible for developing business across many European countries and in the Far East. He has worked in the US managing offices in Seattle and Los Angeles, dealing with major design projects for Boeing, McDonnell Douglas and Heath Techna. His career spans SAC Consultants, Ricardo Aerospace, GECI International and Sitec Engineering.

Bob Hooper, Engineering & Quality Manager

Engineering & Quality Manager

Over 30 years at Rolls-Royce on both civil and military programmes. Bob started as a Development Engineer, became the Pegasus Programme Manager, then Quality Manager within the Military Engine Group. He has considerable experience working with international companies across Europe, Brazil and the USA, including MTU, ITP, Safran Helicopter Engines (formerly Turbomeca), Avio Aero, Piaggio, Celma Brazil and FJ Williams. Trained as a Lead Quality Assessor, Bob carried out audits both internally for Rolls-Royce and externally on suppliers as part of the quality approval process. Since leaving Rolls-Royce, he has worked as Quality Manager, Operations Director and Engineering Consultant supporting companies including Rolls-Royce GmbH, Weir Group, Israeli Aircraft Industries and Telair Germany.

Mike Foster, Business Development Manager

Extensive experience across aerospace and defence, starting as an engineering apprentice at Rolls-Royce before a 14-year military career in the British Armed Forces as an aircraft technician and Armoured Vehicle Artificer. After military service, Mike returned to Rolls-Royce to work on nuclear submarine reactor programmes. Career highlights include leading a 200+ workforce with General Dynamics in Germany, aero-engine work with Dornier (now Airbus), and the MLRS programme. As Business Development Director at GCT, a German aerospace engineering company, he drove significant growth winning contracts with Airbus, Boeing, Rolls-Royce and other major OEMs.
